Named “Peek” since it’s just a glimpse into the social zeitgeist of each era, the book covers the major events and the relevant fashion of the times. Peek hopes to serve as a simple tool of communication exploring the various clothing and the events that led to it bringing a summarised version to the reader.

The book was an academic project compiling the various eras and the fashion corresponding to it. The book was a daunting task, which went through multiple drafts. Wanting for it to not be just another history book with paragraphs and paragraphs, we landed on a layout inculcating as many visual references as possible.

We wanted the book to have a tangible element of recognition and decided for every look breakdown have the details printed on translucent paper, when turned revealing just the painting or photo reference.
